In This Moment Las Vegas Concert reviews
2 Hours of Pure Awesomeness
If you are a fan of In This Moment, your geek license will be revoked if you do not attend this concert - absolutely MUST. This is a celebratory event of John Williams' truly magnificent music that accompanies all six Star Wars films. The concert itself was amazing: the full orchestra and choir performing the music we know so well, accompanied by movie clips, stills, and live orchestra shots on the large screen. If you like movie music, this concert is not to be missed. Upon arriving at the venue, we were greeted by Storm Troopers, Imperial Officers, and Darth Vader in costume, as well as props and costumes on display. Keep in mind this is only a 2-hour show (as most concerts are), so you won't hear every piece of music composed for the films, but it is satisfying nonetheless. If you like live orchestral music, this show will entertain you. Mr. Daniels' narration was dramatic, humorous, and emotional, and the audience was also treated to extras like laser lights and pyrotechnics. Not only did the musicians and choir perform each piece with excellence, but each piece was introduced by everyone's favorite protocol droid: C3PO himself, Anthony Daniels. So go with a spouse, group of friends, girlfriend/boyfriend, friend, or whoever you know who likes to see a live orchestra; you won't be disappointed.
